Our Story
Rooted in Purpose
Founded in May 2024, OVEV emerged from my own deeply personal journey. My inspiration stemmed from my experience with IVF and transition to motherhood, where I found myself struggling to maintain self-care amidst a whirlwind of new responsibilities and an incredibly chaotic calendar. I knew that I needed to find a wellness brand (particularly a brand that specialised in haircare) that recognised the need for premium, effective and easy-to-use treatments tailored to the dynamic lives of busy women, like myself. But nothing existed. So, naturally, I had to create the solution.
My journey highlighted a simple truth for me: Wellness starts from the top. I realised that looking and feeling good isn’t just about our appearance – it’s about how these seemingly-small acts of self-care ripple through every aspect of our lives, helping us step into each day with confidence, and as the best version of ourselves. I was determined to create a brand that didn’t force women to choose between their busy schedules and their wellbeing. In my opinion? You can have both. And you can have both without compromising on anything.
OVEV is my answer to not having time to get to the hairdresser; to not having more than ten minutes to do something for me; to feeling like I had become my own second priority. Our products are designed with ingredients that are all-natural, evidence-based, good for you, and anything but harmful for our planet – and you’ll never have to set an entire afternoon aside to use them. Convenience, for us, is key.
We all know that a fresh blow wave can go a long way in boosting our confidence, and I believe that the right haircare and time spent on ourselves can truly elevate the way we live our lives.
